Job Title: Costing Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform daily product costing for new materials and ensure they are active within the day for simple to moderate subsidiaries. This involves checking and analyzing master data set-up, landing conditions, investigating and analyzing standard cost variance for small to moderate subsidiaries, communicating errors encountered in costing activities, running and documenting costing simulations, performing and documenting annual costing activities, and ensuring timely completion including marking and releasing of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily product costing for new materials.
  • Check and analyze master data set-up, landing conditions.
  • Investigate and analyze standard cost variance for small to moderate subsidiaries.
  • Communicate errors encountered in costing activities.
  • Run and document costing simulations.
  • Perform and document annual costing activities.
  • Ensure timely completion including marking and releasing of materials.

Requirements:
  • Accounting degree and working experience in Finance and Accounting area.
  • Solid financial accounting and internal control knowledge.
  • Experience in Material Master Data and knowledge for standard costing.
  • Working knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience in Shared Service Center for multi-national organization.
  • CPA or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent in English.
