Investment Associate

Are you passionate about accelerating the transition to a clean energy economy?

New Energy Nexus is seeking an Investment Associate to join our team remotely and drive investment activities in Southeast Asia. As an Investment Associate, you will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, managing impact data from portfolio companies, and providing strategic guidance to support their growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investment & Portfolio Management Activities (60%)
    • Collect, analyze, and manage impact data from portfolio companies to measure progress against sustainability metrics.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned portfolio companies.
    • Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies to accelerate their growth.
    • Source, screen, and evaluate potential investment opportunities across the climate tech ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
  • Investor Relations (20%)
    • Support communication and engagements with current and prospective limited partners.
    • Support the development of fundraising materials and pitch decks for future funds.
    • Assist in preparing quarterly reports and updates for limited partners.
    • Help maintain strong relationships with the investor community.
  • Fund Operations (20%)
    • Contribute to the fund's overall investment strategy and thesis development.
    • Collaborate with team members to refine investment processes and workflows.
    • Stay current on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments.
