Senior Platform Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to join our team remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing scalable, multi-node Kubernetes clusters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure as code using Terraform, and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.

They will also need to have hands-on experience with scripting languages like Bash and Python, and Linux system administration.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be able to work closely with software engineering teams to enable fast and reliable deployment cycles.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Design, deploy and manage scalable, multi-node Kubernetes clusters
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other relevant tools
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems

Requirements for this role include:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MSc degree is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration (CKA or similar certifications are a plus)
  • Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools (especially GitHub Actions)
  • Helm charts and package management
  • Monitoring and observability solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Scripting (Bash, Python)
  • Linux system administration

Preferred skills for this role include:

  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure
  • Exposure to MLOps workflows and large language model (LLM) deployment
  • Experience provisioning Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtual machines (e.g. using kubeadm, Cluster API, or similar tools)
