Customer Service Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers, scanners, and other equipment efficiently to process transactions accurately and securely.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, returns, and exchanges while providing customers with detailed receipts and explanations.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
  • Accept payments, verify prices and quantities, and provide change to customers as required.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds promptly and professionally, maintaining a positive attitude and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and free from clutter to promote a welcoming environment for customers.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess basic math skills and be proficient in handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not essential.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
