About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing our offshore accounting team, ensuring all transactions are recorded, reconciled, and reported in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage our offshore accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain efficient processes that enable scalability and growth.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the accuracy and completeness of offshore team's workpapers.
  • Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure bank statements are appropriately reconciled.
  • Record adjusting entries, such as depreciation or accruals.
  • Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results.
  • Oversee local staff who support accounts payable, GL close, and other processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting roles, with 2 years in a management position.
  • Proven track record of managing accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Excellent communication and management skills.
  • Highly organized and methodical.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
