Accounting Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to be a key member of our accounting team, reporting to the Global Controller. In this role, you will take ownership of accounting at several portfolio companies and act as a consultant to the portfolio company management teams.

The ideal candidate thrives in building something from scratch, is not afraid to dive deep into details, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with shifting responsibilities.

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage the entire month-end close process for multiple companies, record bank transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain records and files.

You will also assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations, contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures, and interact effectively with auditors during annual audit preparations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the month-end close process for multiple companies.
  • Record and reconcile bank transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records and files.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the development of new accounting systems and procedures.
  • Interact with auditors during annual audit preparations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Master's degree in related field and/or CPA preferred.
  • 6+ years' experience in accounting required.
  • Experience working with US companies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong relationship skills.
