Senior Director of Analytics and Data Science

We are seeking an accomplished leader to drive strategic growth through cutting-edge analytics and data science initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding a team of skilled professionals, collaborating closely with stakeholders, and delivering innovative insights and solutions to enhance business performance and drive competitive advantage.

This includes leading cross-functional projects, developing and implementing data-driven strategies, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of data science strategies that drive business outcomes
  • Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform data-driven decision-making
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering)
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Data Science or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure) is advantageous
  • Project management experience including planning, initiation, resource allocation, risk & issue management, and stakeholder management are required
