Financial Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage financial records, prepare reports, and ensure the accuracy of financial information. This role requires in-depth knowledge of accounting principles beyond standard bookkeeping tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable; Manage bank and credit card reconciliations;
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports; Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders;
  • Tax Preparation and Compliance: Assist in tax return preparation by organizing financial data and preparing documentation for external accountants; Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms;
  • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections; Monitor and manage payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations;
  • Auditing and Internal Controls: Assist in auditing processes by providing accurate financial data and supporting documents; Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations;
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the preparation of company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans; Provide analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement;
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, preferably in a senior or accountant-level role;
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate financial records and handle complex data analysis;
  • Knowledge of GAAP: Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations;
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a plus;
  • QBO proadvisor;
