Business Analyst-Learning and Development

This role offers a great opportunity to work on a wide variety of learning innovations, partnering with business leaders, technology teams to improve business processes and gather and report on learning utilization and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather data business requirements, including key L&D analytics, industry metrics, and benchmarks.
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements.
  • Design, develop and distribute L&D metrics reporting and visualization, leveraging business intelligence reporting.
  • Manage learner groups or analysis, and assignment of Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety (EOHS) regulatory training in coordination with business partners or training leads, leveraging business intelligence reporting.
  • Support EOHS team with future innovations of the learning enrollment process to reduce friction and improve accuracy.
  • Ensure all business processes are documented, uniform, and securely stored.
  • Recommend process improvements for improved efficiencies, removing waste, saving time, and reducing friction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, and 8+ years of experience in business analysis, including working with internal business partners and technology leads.
  • Experience in complex problem solving and process improvement, analyzing and recommending solutions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI business intelligence reporting and Smartsheet.
  • Solid knowledge of latest innovations and emerging trends in leveraging data and providing predictive and prescriptive learning analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in learning and development, learning design and/or adult learning.
  • Six Sigma, Lean or other equivalent certification.
  • Experience working in the operations of learning and development in healthcare industry and environmental, occupational health, and safety.
