We're seeking a seasoned professional to manage our email and SMS programs, driving customer engagement and repeat purchases.

As a Retention Manager, you will own the design and optimization of automated journeys, nurturing customers into brand promoters. You'll build relationships with VIPs, creating personalized experiences that exceed their expectations.

The ideal candidate has scaled retention channels before, combining data and creativity to surprise and delight customers. This is an opportunity to shape our retention strategy from end-to-end, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize customer impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Email & SMS Programs:
    • Design and optimize advanced flows (welcome, onboarding, replenishment, winback, VIP, membership) that drive engagement and repeat purchases.
  • VIP Customer Management:
    • Nurture top buyers with personalized outreach, turning them into affiliates, brand advocates, and case study partners.
  • Membership & Loyalty Growth:
    • Grow adoption of our membership plan, reduce churn, and create exclusive perks that keep customers engaged long-term.
  • Customer Insights & Feedback:
    • Run surveys, segment customers, and deliver retention reports with insights to inform growth, product, and CX strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of scaling email/SMS programs for eCommerce.
  • Experience in customer retention, VIP management, or loyalty programs.
  • Excellent communication skills: strong writing and comfortable engaging directly with customers.
  • Data-driven: knows how to track, analyze, and present retention metrics.
  • Creative mindset: designs flows, perks, and campaigns that surprise and delight.
