Mission Critical System Uptime Specialist

About the Role

As a reliability focused DevOps expert, you will play a key role in ensuring the uptime and performance of our production systems. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement monitoring and alerting pipelines that enable proactive incident management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and SigNoz.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, TypeScript, or Bash to reduce toil and improve system reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues that impact system uptime.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or IT Operations roles.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Skilled in scripting for automation.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and document learnings.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills under pressure.
  • Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Team player who collaborates effectively across dev, infra, and ops.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-uptime environments.
  • Knowledge of advanced reliability engineering practices.
