Family Caregiver Specialist

Making family care possible at a national level, we tackle the challenge of unsolved family caregiving. Over 50 million Americans provide unpaid care without tools or support.

We aim to train and employ family caregivers so they can get paid for the care they already provide at home.

Our tech-powered, family-first care platform efficiently delivers care, improves health outcomes, and provides a best-in-class experience nationwide.

We are expanding our mission rapidly and looking for passionate team members to join us in this critical endeavor.

The Role

This is not your typical sales or customer success position. You will work with real families with real human problems. Your role is to empower underserved families to take the most transformative step of their life to access care.

  • You will collect, review, and accurately track required documentation from caregivers and families.
  • You will conduct outbound calls and respond to inbound inquiries, providing clear guidance to families throughout the documentation process.
  • You will manage a high volume of daily phone interactions, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • You will verify that all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with state regulations and Medicaid/Medicare requirements.
  • You will communicate effectively and compassionately with families via phone, text, and email to ensure a supportive experience.
  • You will maintain well-organized records, monitor upcoming expirations, and send timely reminders to prevent lapses.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Extensive experience in customer service, administrative support, or healthcare-related roles.
  • A proven ability to manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail in document review and tracking.
  • Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, shared drives, and/or document management tools.
  • An ability to handle multiple priorities, manage follow-ups, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach when supporting families and caregivers.
