Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Helpline Responder to join our dedicated team of mental health professionals. Our mission is to provide exceptional support to individuals in need, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

The Role

As a Helpline Responder, you will play a pivotal role in delivering timely and effective support through calls, texts, and chats. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with stakeholders and internal teams through clear communication channels, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide empathetic and proactive support to clients via phone, text, or chat
  • Maintain high standards for caller interactions, utilizing scripts and best practices to ensure positive outcomes
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, to address client needs effectively
  • Stay organized by tracking client information using our systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Collaborate with the operations team and fellow coaches to develop and implement effective solutions for clients' complex issues
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a helpline responder, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to clients
  • Training in SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) or its equivalent, with a deep understanding of the therapeutic principles and practices
  • Certification in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention, demonstrating your commitment to providing safe and supportive environments for clients
  • A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Tagalog, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • A willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve, embracing opportunities for growth and development
  • Technical know-how for meetings and online development courses, with proficiency in digital tools and platforms
