Job Title: 2D to 3D Point Cloud Conversion Specialist

We are seeking a skilled specialist to transform 2D portrait images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models for subsurface crystal engraving.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Convert high-resolution 2D images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models with raised facial features, ensuring accurate detail and texture.
  2. Enhance image contrast, clarity, and definition to achieve optimal engraving results through advanced techniques.
  3. Ensure compatibility of 3D models with engraving machine formats (e.g. OBJ), guaranteeing seamless integration.
  4. Scale and adjust 3D models to fit crystal dimensions (e.g. 5cm cube), meeting precise requirements.
  5. Conduct thorough quality checks before delivering engraving-ready files, upholding the highest standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in 3D modeling, CAD, or image-to-3D conversion, demonstrating expertise and efficiency.
  2. Familiarity with point cloud generation tools and techniques, allowing for effective model creation.
  3. Strong understanding of bas-relief modeling and digital sculpting, providing a solid foundation for complex projects.
  4. Knowledge of 3D file formats (OBJ, STL, etc.) and scaling processes, ensuring smooth workflows.
  5. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, navigating challenges with ease.
