We are seeking an experienced accountant to lead and manage our accounts payable function.
Main Responsibilities:- Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in accordance with established procedures.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain up-to-date vendor records and documentation for efficient processing.
- Monitor outstanding payables and guarantee timely and accurate payment processing.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
- Support the month-end close by preparing necessary accruals, reconciliations, and reports.
- Assist in audits by providing required schedules, reports, and supporting documents.
Requirements include:
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, reconciliations).
- Knowledge of GAAP, financial close processes, and variance analysis.
- Experience preparing reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
