Procurement Role Overview

The role of Procurement Specialist is a key position within our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement operations and contract administration.

This is a full-time position with standard United States working hours, Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, with excellent verbal and written communication skills to work directly with global suppliers and employees at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor contracts from initial request review to final execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Update procurement leadership on project progress and savings initiatives via various internal systems.
  • Coordinate scheduling across multiple calendars to facilitate efficient collaboration with suppliers.
  • Oversee the vendor contract execution process, ensuring timely completion and accurate data management.
  • Monitor contract lifecycles, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, or terminations as necessary.
  • Identify discrepancies in contract terms and develop solutions to resolve them.
  • Process requisitions to POs in the Coupa Procure to Pay system for goods and services required.
  • Review and select suppliers based on quality, price, terms, and delivery for requisitions submitted.
  • Maintain purchase orders, change requests, contracts, and associated documents up-to-date.
  • Assist with setting up new suppliers into finance systems as needed.
  • Run reports from the Coupa PTP system to support month-end activities and ad-hoc reporting.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • Experience in procurement with a focus on indirect spend in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint); experience with Coupa PTP or comparable systems a plus.
  • Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier performance and contract terms.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.
