Job Title: Assurance Senior

We are seeking an experienced Assurance Senior to join our team. As a senior assurance professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced assurance professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our organization. You will be responsible for managing client engagements, leading teams, and developing business relationships.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients across different industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, professional services, health care, governmental, wholesale/distribution, financial institution and nonprofit entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Lead teams of assurance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and development of our organization.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry developments, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
  • Compliance with the 150 hour rule and/or a CPA certification.
  • Two (2) years to four (4) years recent public accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA), and industry-specific rules.
  • Experience with paperless auditing applications preferred.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills.
  • A desire to provide exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet budget and time deadlines.
