Job Opportunity

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Tax Accountant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other client reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, and other client reports;
  • Prepare Financial Statements and Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals, and SMSFs;
  • Review and reconcile financials (monthly or quarterly), including data entry;
  • General accounting procedures and other ad hoc tasks as required;
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in Australian taxation;
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (CPA/CA qualified or willingness to study preferred);
  • Excellent written and verbal business communication skills;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of preparing financial statements for various entities (experience with SMSF in Class software highly regarded);
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices;
  • High-level Excel skills;
  • Working knowledge of Xero, Xero Tax, and XPM;
  • Attention to detail, time management, and administrative skills;
