Student Manager Role

This position oversees and streamlines communication between clients and various departments, coordinates workflows, manages data processes, and ensures client needs are met. The Student Manager provides stakeholders with premium, personalized services in preparation for college admissions.

The ideal candidate is familiar with education, has exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and can produce quality research and present information in a comprehensive format. Resourcefulness, initiative, and flexibility are required due to the fast-paced nature of admissions.

Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: The Student Manager conveys important information such as research findings, reminders, updates, and other relevant messages while maintaining professionalism and clarity in all interactions.
  • Research: The Student Manager conducts high-level research under Consultant directives and guidance to support client needs. Responsibilities include analyzing and recommending best-fit schools, researching college application requirements, summarizing admission criteria, and identifying relevant summer programs.
  • Data Management: The Student Manager collects, organizes, updates, and maintains comprehensive client information to facilitate personalized services according to individual needs and requirements.
  • Administration and Logistics: The Student Manager coordinates daily office activities, monitors and supports administrative and logistical processes, handles client communications, directs inquiries to the appropriate College Team member, and provides administrative support.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Creative Writing, or related field.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing productivity software and business tools.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience engaging and dealing with diverse children, teenagers, young adults, and their families in educational or community settings.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative team environment.
