Risk Advisor Assistant Job Summary
This is a critical role that requires exceptional support to one of our experienced Risk Advisors, ensuring the smooth operation of daily insurance tasks and activities.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide dedicated support to a Risk Advisor in managing day-to-day insurance operations, client documentation, and coordination tasks.
- Assist in preparing insurance quotations, proposals, and renewal documents for clients.
- Process and input data accurately into web-based insurance systems, CRMs, and editable PDFs.
- Maintain and update client records and policy information within the CRM system.
- Prepare and issue certificates of insurance upon request.
- Gather and organize client data to prepare insurance policy applications and supporting documentation.
- Familiarity with managing billing processes with both clients and insurance carriers is required.
- Organize and track outstanding documentation, including policy subjectivities and compliance requirements.
- Draft and send professional communications to clients, insurers, and other stakeholders on behalf of the Risk Advisor.
- Prior experience in the insurance industry (agency, brokerage, or carrier).
- Knowledge of insurance terminology and processes.
- Experience working with insurance management systems or CRMs.
- Able to follow detailed instructions.
- Commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working closely with one Risk Advisor in a support-focused role.
- Excitement to learn insurance concepts and go above and beyond.
