Treatment Coordinator Role

This pivotal position ensures seamless patient care through effective coordination. As a Virtual Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing treatment plans and providing administrative support remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and coordinate treatment appointments to optimize office resources.
  • Communicate treatment details clearly to patients, addressing any questions or concerns.
Patient Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans and procedures.
  • Provide patients with pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand guidelines.
  • Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally through various channels.
Appointment Management
  • Manage and update patient appointment schedules for timely and efficient treatment progression.
  • Confirm appointments and assist with rescheduling or cancellations as needed.
  • Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure smooth workflow and availability.
Electronic Records Management
  • Maintain and update electronic patient records, treatment plans, and administrative documents using dental practice management software or electronic health record systems.
    • E nsure compliance with patient privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
    Insurance and Financial Coordination
    • Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and pre-authorizations for treatments.
    • Assist patients with understanding their financial obligations.
    • Work with billing departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims and patient payments.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy in all patient interactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience working in a dental or healthcare setting are highly desirable.
