Job Summary:

Poutrix is seeking experienced Cost & Commercial Management professionals to join our team and contribute to the success of our CCM team. You will work on a variety of projects focused on sustainability and resilience, applying your skills in cost planning, estimation, and budgeting to drive business growth and efficiency.

The position falls under our Resilience business area, where we work diligently to protect our planet's natural environment and water resources while promoting sustainable development. In today's rapidly changing world, it's essential that we address pressing issues like climate change, urbanization, and biodiversity loss. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and review project costs and variances on small commercial/regeneration/residential projects, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing corrective actions.
  2. Manage small to medium-scale cost projects or contribute significantly to larger cost management assignments, ensuring timely delivery of project objectives and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  3. Identify and address potential business risks, escalating concerns to senior management to prevent adverse project impacts and ensure continuity of operations.
  4. Offer guidance on risk management best practices to colleagues, ensuring alignment with organizational risk and compliance protocols and promoting a culture of safety and responsibility.
  5. Analyze and interpret project data to inform cost and commercial management decisions, preparing relevant documentation and advising on optimal strategies to achieve business objectives.
  6. Apply knowledge and experience to evaluate and improve existing cost and commercial management processes and policies, fostering innovation and continuous service improvement and ensuring seamless integration with other business functions.
  7. Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external clients, utilizing technical expertise to deliver high-quality services and meet customer expectations, driving loyalty and repeat business.
  8. Provide specialized technical support to colleagues, facilitating knowledge sharing and exceptional client service, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  9. Foster collaboration with external stakeholders to understand their needs, resolving issues and delivering quality client care that contributes to sustained client satisfaction and drives business growth.
  10. Contribute to the leadership of small to medium-sized cost projects or provide significant cost management input, aligning with project scope and deadlines and ensuring successful project outcomes.
