SUMMARY
We seek a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Bookkeeping Tasks
- Maintain and balance the general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries
- Process vendors' and customers' invoices in QuickBooks
- Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions and PDF attachments to QuickBooks
- Conduct reconciliation of accounts and bank reconciliation
- Accounts Payable Functions
- Review, code, and process payments
- Accounts Receivable Functions
- Invoice, deposit, collect, and recognize revenue
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Maintain daily task report
- Monthly end adjusting of journal entries
- Comparative analysis of income and balance sheet
- Produce and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents and reports
- Audit invoicing and payment activities for accuracy and completeness
- Create tax data collection systems and maintain the corporate tax database
- Complete required tax reporting promptly
- Prepare and update tax provision schedules
- Digitize accounting paperwork and maintain organized records
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency in automated financial and accounting reporting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage 50, ERP, and SAP
- Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle, reconciliation, and audit
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word)
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle numerous deadlines
- Highly organized, able to multitask, and work independently
- Ability to communicate information clearly with all levels of the organization
- Good English communication skills - oral and written
- Work From Home ready – a Desktop with 2 monitors is needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting/Finance or any related degree; CPA designation is a plus
- Proven 3+ years of previous work experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping – BPO experience is a plus but not required
- Solid background in Accounting Operations, Corporate Accountant – is a plus
