Job Overview

This role is for an IT Engineer to support the organization's global IT operations. The primary objective is to provide timely and effective technical assistance to employees, ensuring seamless technology support across departments.

The IT Engineer serves as the first point of contact for technical support, resolving customer issues efficiently and documenting all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve customer computer and application issues promptly and effectively.
  • Manage the IT ticket queue efficiently, ensuring all issues are tracked and resolved within established SLAs.
  • Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including workstation setup, hardware provisioning, and system access management.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to maintain vendor payment processes.

Occasional travel may be required to oversee hardware shipping and receiving, adhering to company asset management policies.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2-3 years of experience in IT engineering with a proven track record in managing IT systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in computer-related technical support.
  • Proficiency in end-user operating systems (e.g., macOS, Windows) and foundational knowledge of server operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking skills, including TCP/IP and routing principles.
