Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Billing Clerk to assist with reviewing, processing and maintaining basic accounting or construction-related documents.

Your primary focus will be on providing excellent customer service, working directly with our office staff, and ensuring the accurate and timely payment of subcontractors.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment, entering invoices in a timely and accurate manner daily, and processing 2 and 3-way purchase order invoices.

You will also serve as a primary contact between internal and external customers to resolve issues that arise and provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management.

Responsibilities:
  • Clerical Work: Perform clerical work in reviewing, processing, and maintaining basic accounting or construction-related documents.
  • Collaboration: Work directly with the office staff (Regional Management, project managers, accounting) and assist with multiple and varied tasks.
  • Filing: Keep all office documents filed (paper/electronically), organized and maintained.
  • Payment Processing: Be responsible for the accurate, efficient, and timely payment of subcontractors.
  • Invoice Review: Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.
  • Invoice Entry: Enter invoices in a timely and accurate manner daily, with proper approvals.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Process 2 and 3-way purchase order invoices and act as a primary contact between internal and external customers to resolve issues that arise.
  • Document Preparation: Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management.
Qualifications:
  • Clerical Experience: 3+ years of clerical experience as a Data Entry Specialist.
  • Data Entry Skills: Basic data entry skills, preferably working on an E360 platform.
  • Work Completion: High-quality work completion track record.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to figure out complex problems and enjoy hands-on approach to work.
  • Computer Skills: Strong computer and business solutions software skills.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with ability to prioritize work.
  • Auditing: Able to perform accurate computations and verification of data.
