As a senior revenue accountant, you will play a pivotal role in empowering data-driven decision making across the organization.

About the Role:
  • Manage and review self-service transactions to ensure accurate revenue reconciliation
  • Evaluate the impact of non-standard contracts on revenue accounting processes
  • Develop and implement revenue recognition strategies utilizing data visualization tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain key integrations between financial systems, including Stripe, NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, and Hex, ensuring seamless data validation prior to month-end close
  • Perform thorough reconciliations of revenue accounts during month-end close
  • Oversee sales tax activities, including payment reconciliation, accrual journal entry posting, and reviewing returns as part of the month-end close process
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an asynchronous remote team environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in revenue accounting
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and ASC 606 principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to take ownership, prioritize tasks, and resolve complex problems efficiently
  • Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
