Job Title: Financial Data Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume client orders on time accurately, ensuring full compliance with contract requirements and internal standards.
  • Verify and validate financial data to ensure its integrity and accuracy.
  • Escalate issues and concerns with urgency and clarity to minimize delays and risks proactively.
  • Review and analyze accounting outputs (client invoices, vendor bills, revenue reports, gross margins, etc.) to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions when needed.
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to meet business needs and continuously search for ways to enhance service delivery.
  • Uphold high standards of organization, attention to detail, and critical thinking to maintain data integrity.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessitated by business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with high-volume data entry, data interpretation, and data quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel functions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively under multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Superior attention to detail, with a proven ability to deliver accurate work consistently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
