We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to manage high-volume financial operations for a scaling EV infrastructure business. This role offers the exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the sustainable energy sector while handling complex financial processes including substantial fixed asset management, high-volume transaction reconciliation, and comprehensive month-end closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable Management: Manage comprehensive accounts payable processes through Bill.com platform with approval workflows.
  • Accounts Receivable Operations: Handle accounts receivable operations and customer billing processes.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date QuickBooks records for all financial transactions.
  • Depreciation Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed depreciation schedules for high-value fixed assets ($50,000-$100,000 charging systems).
  • Monthly Closing Procedures: Execute thorough monthly closing procedures including fixed asset reporting.
  • Transaction Reconciliation: Perform complex reconciliation of thousands of monthly transactions, matching software-generated reports against actual cash receipts.
  • Transaction Data Management: Download, process, and analyze detailed transaction reports from charging network software.
  • Data Entry and Accuracy: Record and categorize high-volume transaction data with precision and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Payables Management Expertise: Proven proficiency with Bill.com platform for payables management.
  • Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills for handling large datasets, complex formulas, and sophisticated reconciliation processes.
  • Fixed Asset Management: Solid experience with fixed asset management and depreciation schedule creation.
  • Bookkeeping Experience: Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably with US-based clients.
  • Independence and Organization: Ability to work independently and manage high-volume transaction processing.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling thousands of data points.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet monthly closing deadlines.
  • Time Zone Compatibility: Commitment to working Eastern Time business hours (9 AM - 5 PM ET).
  • Professionalism: Professional approach to handling sensitive financial information.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment without relying on AI tools for core accounting functions.
