Senior Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Architect to join our dynamic Workplace team. As a key member of our Global Excellence Centre (GEC), you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design and technical development of our workplace solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, innovation, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embody and demonstrate Arcadis' behavioral framework in your day-to-day work.
  • Prioritize your own safety and safety of others by understanding and following Arcadis' Health and Safety Principles.
  • Contribute to project success by completing assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in line with quality goals – while always aiming to exceed client expectations.
  • Prepare design documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice.
  • Take ownership of your work by reviewing it carefully to ensure it meets required standards before sharing it with others.
  • Bring a strong technical mindset to the role – this is at the heart of what makes you effective and valuable.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues from other countries, primarily in North America and China, maintaining quality and integrity of project outcomes.
  • Support project rollouts with flexibility and adaptability, working on multiple projects as needed.
  • Monitor the performance of project team members, identifying and resolving issues in coordination with Team Leads, Task Managers, and Line Managers.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience, with a proven track record in Workplace design, particularly in blocking and test-fitting process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills essential for this role.
  • Previous experience on projects across North America and Asia preferred.
  • Client presentation and coordination experience an advantage.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD essential.
  • Working knowledge in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, Enscape & Twin Motion a plus.
  • Strong command in written and spoken English essential.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality architectural solutions.
  • Open-mindedness and enthusiasm for contributing to the team's digital initiative and process automation efforts.
