Job Description

As Utility Team Lead, you will oversee the management and mentorship of a team of Utility Engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections, data accuracy, and process improvements within the electric utility sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Utility Engineers to deliver exceptional results.
  • Catalog and identify equipment issues or hazards in utility assets.
  • Ensure quality control of work packages and compliance with project standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior engineers to enhance their skills.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to meet project goals and deliverables.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and technical knowledge.
  • Participate in training programs to develop your expertise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in the electric utility field.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with NESC and industry engineering practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
