Lead Utility Infrastructure Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Senior Utility Engineer to lead detailed inspections of overhead utility infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership and analytical skills who can ensure data integrity and contribute to process improvements within the electric utility sector.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in the electric utility field and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Leading inspections of overhead utility infrastructure to identify faults and hazards.
  • Performing advanced data analysis to ensure high standards of accuracy and data quality.
  • Overseeing QA/QC processes for work packages and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
  • Providing feedback and contributing to process improvements.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and best industry engineering practices (nice-to-have).

Technical Environment:

  • GIS software for utility asset mapping and analysis.
  • Data management tools for cataloging and reporting.
  • Communication platforms for collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Industry-standard reference materials, including NESC and engineering guidelines.
