Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Java developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java development, cloud architecture, and enterprise-grade software solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions, and implementing and maintaining microservices architecture on the AWS cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of professional Java development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services industry experience (banking, payments, trading, or fintech).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements (PCI DSS, SOX, etc.).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, DataDog).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
