Senior Software Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the development of scalable digital products using React and Node.js.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on full-stack development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Node.js and React.js.
  • They should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
  1. To design and develop robust server-side applications and APIs (RESTful and/or GraphQL) that meet the required specifications and standards.
  2. To build reusable, modular front-end components and libraries across multiple projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  3. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype, and validate early-stage concepts, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
  4. To ensure web applications are accessible, mobile-optimized, and browser-compatible, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  5. To mentor junior developers and help shape engineering best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design.
  • Proven experience with RESTful and GraphQL API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Context).
  • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Proficient with Webpack, Babel, Git, and other build/version control tools.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration.

  • Experience working with agile methodologies and version control systems.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and automation.
  • A portfolio showcasing your projects and achievements.
