Job Overview

This role requires a strong analytical mind, passion for the crypto-asset industry, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will work independently, contributing to the development of contrarian investment theses that challenge conventional wisdom.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail and ability to quickly comprehend complex data. Strong critical thinking skills and comfort with challenging viewpoints are essential.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Emerging Project Identification: Identify early-stage crypto and Web3 projects exhibiting potential for significant returns, focusing on those not yet mainstream.
  2. In-depth Analysis and Hypothesis Development: Conduct comprehensive analyses to form and present non-consensus hypotheses about project potential, including market demand, innovation, scalability, adoption potential, and team execution capabilities.
  3. Investment Memo Preparation: Compile detailed memos articulating hypotheses, supporting analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessment strategies in a concise format.
  4. Pitch Presentation: Develop and present persuasive pitches to the investment committee, highlighting unique insights and defending investment theses.
  5. Market Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the crypto and blockchain landscape to inform investment decisions.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within the crypto, blockchain, or fintech sectors.
  2. Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to conduct detailed market research, financial analysis, and project evaluation.
  3. Crypto and Blockchain Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and emerging Web3 innovations.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex investment theses clearly and persuasively.
  5. Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with knack for developing contrarian viewpoints.
