IT Security Expert

We are seeking a seasoned IT security expert to join our team. As an IT security specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems.

  • You will be responsible for handling daily security incidents, serving as a single point of contact (SPOC) for IT security incidents, evaluating technical threats and risks, and escalating security threats, risks, and incidents.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Email Security Appliance, Web proxy, Vulnerability scanner, and SOAR is required.
  • A strong understanding of security concepts like Network Security, Endpoint Security, Mail Security, Cloud Security, MITRE ATT&CK framework, Adversary TTPs, and Vulnerabilities is essential.
About This Role
  • Preferably, you have experience in Threat Hunting or developing SIEM use cases.
  • You will develop skills within specific IT security areas and manage or support security-related systems.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more fields, mentoring and guiding Junior Specialists, presenting oneself professionally, and handling high and critical incidents are all key responsibilities.
  • Documentation, compliance, and professional development through training and self-education are also part of this role.
Requirements
  • A university degree in IT or relevant IT education or courses is required.
  • At least 3 years of IT security-related work experience is necessary.
