Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our special coverage team in creating impactful live journalism events, podcasts, and other digital content around critical global convenings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit strong editorial judgment to shape how we show up to and cover key moments in global development.
  • Conduct research to explore issues that matter to our community and develop ideas for interviews or panels.
  • Identify and recommend speakers who can bring critical issues to life onstage.
  • Manage speaker correspondence and provide strategic support to the senior editor and executive editor.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure content flows smoothly from concept to execution.
Requirements:
  • Strong editorial judgment and keen sense for what matters to global development audiences.
  • Top-notch interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in journalism, editorial content creation, and/or event management.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, clear and concise communication style.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
