Financial Specialist

The role entails daily receipting, monthly bank reconciliation, and managing bank accounts. The individual will also oversee term deposit investment and maturity communication, generate financial reviews and reports, and forecast and manage cash flow on a monthly basis.
- Manage finance queries in an external system
- Process daily receipts, monthly bank reconciliations, and bank account administration
- Communicate with clients regarding term deposit investments and maturity
- Compile and present financial reviews and reports
- Forecast and manage cash flow on a monthly basis
- Perform year-end financial checks and journal entries
- Budget preparation for the financial year
- Issue contribution levies to property owners
- Liaise with auditors during audits and respond to audit queries
- Assist with new and lost business onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare and review BAS quarterly and tax returns annually
- Process and update management agreements, including system updates and fee corrections
- Analyze bot exception reports and complete manual tasks
- Coordinate and manage body corporate loans
- Provide explanations or information to relevant parties (e.g., executive committee, strata manager)
- Attend virtual meetings with external clients as required
- Manage miscellaneous charges to property owners (gas, water, electricity, car park, etc.)
- Process payroll and superannuation for building managers employed by the property corporation
- Investigate dishonoured payments and bank deposit recalls
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong numerical and analytical abilities and high attention to detail.
