Secure Data Platform Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled data platform administrator to ensure the secure and reliable operations of our large-scale data platform built on Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure access control, identity integration, and compliance management within Snowflake with particular emphasis on integrating and managing user access via Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, RBAC roles, auditing practices, and data protection standards in collaboration with security teams, data engineers, and architects.
  • Monitor usage, handle user provisioning, and support regulatory and data governance requirements across the platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, particularly around security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC). Proficiency in integrating Snowflake with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD) for secure authentication and SSO is also required.

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake administration, focusing on security, user management, and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Proficiency in integrating Snowflake with Active Directory (on-prem or Azure AD) for secure authentication and SSO.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments, including auditing, encryption, and sensitive data handling.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, preferably in environments that include SAP or Salesforce as data sources.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and compliance frameworks is an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, enabling effective support for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
