Accounting Professional

This is a project-based contract position that will last for six months, with the option to extend. You will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate financial records while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, a solid grasp of accounting principles, and proficiency with AP software tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process high-volume invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  • Manage vendor accounts, including reconciliations and payment schedules.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and assist with month-end closing.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams.
  • Generate AP reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably supporting U.S. based clients.
  • Experience with ViewPoint is required.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and financial principles.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines consistently.
