Accounting Expert for Real Estate Operations

Seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to oversee financial transactions, ensure accounting accuracy, and provide insightful analysis supporting business decisions in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting tasks for real estate properties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Utilize industry-leading tools like AppFolio and QuickBooks Online to manage property accounting, tenant ledgers, rent payments, owner statements, and property reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks Online to guarantee accurate financial data.
  • Process monthly bank reconciliations and promptly resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review.
  • Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Real Estate Accounting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with AppFolio (required).
  • Strong QuickBooks Online skills with a proven track record of accurate bookkeeping.
  • In-depth understanding of real estate financial workflows, including rent collection, owner payouts, and property expense tracking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
