Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead our design management efforts. This pivotal role involves overseeing the delivery of exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and compliance standards for our design resources.


The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to our project portfolio. They will champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and prioritize the wellbeing of the team members they manage.


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary operational manager for our design managers or other design management resources deployed to projects.
  • Lead the delivery of design management to achieve key strategic outcomes and sub-function KPIs, directly influencing strategic development.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for client design issues, ensuring relationships are maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in design management systems, design risk management, and mitigation, prefabrication/build strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge and application of business planning and communication.
  • Good understanding of all design disciplines.
  • Ability to influence and persuade senior management towards a desired course of action.
