Finance Analyst Job Description

Podean is a leading global marketing agency that unlocks potential on international marketplaces. Our services span e-commerce strategy, content creation, media management, retail operations, data analytics, consulting, and social commerce.

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join our growing global finance team. The role will be critical in delivering accurate, complete, and timely financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post daily journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.
  • Ensure the general ledger is maintained, updated, and accurate.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Assist FP&A with granular and financial statement inquiries.
  • Draft and send invoices to clients and/or draft bills received from vendors.
  • Consolidate and send documents (invoices/payment proof/bank statement).
  • Support the integration of systems, processes, and reporting structures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any equivalent courses.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience as an accounting professional, preferably with experience in external and/or internal audit, or an accounting firm.
  • Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets expertise.
  • Familiarity with all Microsoft Office applications and the Google Workspace.
  • Ability to dissect and comprehend legal agreements between entities.
  • Experience in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
  • Ability to reconcile external documentation and company records.
  • Collaborative and approachable team player.
