Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to head our Sustaining Engineering team.

This role requires technical expertise, strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire high-performing teams.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading distributed teams and driving business results through technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a distributed team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, provide feedback and career development guidance to team members.
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and training programs for the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of bug fixes, patches and other technical solutions.
  • Advocate and advance modern software development practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional software delivery experience using C, C++, Go, Python or similar.
  • Leadership experience displaying ability to organize and prioritize complex problem resolution and bug fixes.
  • Experience with version control systems such as git.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Technical expertise in Linux, open source software and cloud computing.
