Senior Software Engineering Leadership

The Senior Application Architect is a seasoned technology leader who oversees the development of innovative software solutions to drive business success.

This role plans, coordinates, and manages all software development activities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads cross-functional teams of software engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Participates in planning, estimation, architecture, and design of software solutions to leverage cutting-edge technology and enable business growth.
  • Establishes and maintains software development processes and standards to improve team productivity and ensure best practices.
  • Coaches and mentors software engineers in developing high-quality software solutions and improving technical skills.
  • Develops training programs to enhance team knowledge and stay technically relevant.
  • Manages performance evaluations and career growth opportunities for software engineers.
  • Participates in recruitment and talent acquisition efforts to build a strong engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years experience in software development with a strong background in architecting and designing complex software systems.
  • 5+ years' experience as a Solutions Architect or Senior Software Engineer with expertise in cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.
  • Strong experience designing, reviewing, and documenting AWS based solutions using Cloudformation or Terraform.
  • Highly proficient in C#/.Net, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger/OpenAPI, Git, and Azure DevOps/Jenkins.
  • Strong understanding of architecture patterns, passion for best practices, and ability to conduct code reviews.
  • Experience designing end-to-end solutions that integrate various systems, applications, and data sources.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and trends and make recommendations for adoption.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to act as a mentor and consensus builder.
  • AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional a strong plus.
