PCB Designer

A talented PCB designer is sought to handle activities related to the layout, design, and routing of Schematics and Printed Circuit Boards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ECE, EE, and COE, with at least 3 years of experience in PCB Design and Layout.

About the Role

This position involves working on high-frequency, high-density PCB designs of moderate to high complexity switch-mode power conversion. The successful candidate will be able to work on low-wattage of few hundred Watts to high-wattage tens of kW power supply PCB Designs, as well as layout of digital control boards.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Advanced Engineering EE and Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering, Agency Compliance, and PCB vendors.
  • Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in ECE, EE, or COE.
  • At least 3 years of experience in PCB Design and Layout.
  • Extensive experience in Cadence PCB Design tools.
  • Strong background in power supply design.
  • Background in RF a plus.
  • Exposure to customer electronics R&D or design for manufacturability an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player in a multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Results-driven.
