Job Opportunity

The Foreign Exchange Risk Analyst plays a critical role in managing our exposure to foreign currency fluctuations across multiple currencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • FX Risk Management: Track and manage the company's foreign currency exposure across all markets and suppliers.
  • Obligation Forecasting: Maintain accurate forecasts of incoming and outgoing foreign currency flows to support cash flow planning and risk management.
  • Hedging Strategy: Work with the CFO and VP Finance on appropriate hedging strategies (e.g. forward contracts, natural hedging) to minimize FX risk in line with the company's risk tolerance.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile FX transactions and provide regular reporting on FX exposures, gains/losses, and hedging performance.
  • Bank & Partner Management: Maintain relationships with financial institutions to ensure competitive rates and service levels.
  • Compliance: Ensure all FX activities comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign exchange markets, financial instruments and hedging techniques are essential.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with multi-currency environments—ideally in the travel or tourism industry.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury management systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are necessary for this role.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approach is vital for success.
