The Role We Are Hiring For

  • Our client is a leading online design platform that enables entrepreneurs and businesses to create logos, websites, business cards, social media and other designs.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing 100% original vector-based icons that meet the client's requirements.

  • They will also need to record their work in a timely manner using personal and team trackers.

  • A strong visual eye and good copywriting skills are essential for adding relevant tags to help customers find the icon designs on the website.

  • The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with the team to ensure alignment with project briefs.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience working as an in-house graphic designer, agency or freelancer where they were engaged in icon or logo creation.

  • They should be proficient in using design software and technologies including Adobe Illustrator.

  • A strong icon design portfolio or online graphic design portfolio link with their application is required.

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field and/or strong work experience designing icons is essential.

  • Excellent visual taste/aesthetics is a must.

  • Good knowledge of color combinations to create stunning icons is necessary.

  • Knowledge of graphic design trends is required.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work methodically and meet deadlines are essential.

  • Keen goal setter, who is comfortable setting goals and achieving KPIs and targets.

  • Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Strong, confident level of business English expected for editing the icons they make and SEO.

  • Experience selling vector icons on stock platforms and knowledgeable about stock platform template libraries is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in Google suite products and messaging apps like Slack.

  • Reliable internet connectivity with a minimum 10 mbps bandwidth.

  • Conducive home office.
