Job Title: Licensed Mechanical Engineer

Job Description:

  • As a mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of data center support facilities. This includes electrical power distribution, UPS systems, generators, HVAC equipment, chiller plants, fire alarm and detection systems, fire suppression systems, access control systems, security surveillance systems, and wire management systems.

  • You will also be required to coordinate with affiliates and customer facilities management teams to implement contracted preventive maintenance of building facilities.

  • Another key responsibility will be to draw engineering plans, conduct cost estimates, project schedules, and material specifications for facility-related projects and customer requirements.

  • Additionally, you will inspect project construction activities to ensure they conform to plans and specifications.

  • Work closely with technicians on daily operation and maintenance activities.

  • Generate reports for O&M for each equipment and keep and update equipment history records.

  • Submit periodic reports, such as O&M performance reports and project status reports.

  • Perform troubleshooting and product support to meet customer service level agreements.

  • Be available on-call 24/7 to respond or assist in the event of emergencies and facilities problems affecting project completion and services.

  • Assist sales groups in customer requirement clarifications and inquiries and during site tours.

  • Provide regular reports/updates and perform special tasks/projects assigned by the facilities head.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of mechanical engineering or licensed mechanical engineer.

  • Knowledge of 24/7 operations and maintenance of electrical systems, air conditioning systems, auxiliary systems, or structured cabling.

  • Ability to perform problem analysis and initial recommendation on physical cabling systems and building facilities.

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Willingness to start ASAP and adapt to shifting schedules.

  • Availability to be assigned in Sta. Rosa Laguna.
