Job Overview

Fund Operations and Reconciliation Lead is responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and reports.


Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile internal reports against merchants' reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Validate reports to guarantee quality output.
  • Endorse valid adjustments to merchants/partners and internal teams upon approval.
  • Handle customer and internal concerns through multiple channels within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Prepare month-end reports and schedules to facilitate timely decision-making.
  • Analyze reports and records provided by internal and external partners to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to update and resolve issues in assigned products.
  • Maintain detailed records of reconciliation activities, discrepancies, and resolutions for documentation.
  • Generate and distribute reconciliation reports to management, summarizing findings and highlighting key insights.
  • Continuously seek ways to streamline and improve reconciliation processes, including automation of repetitive tasks.
  • Evaluate regulatory requirements and internal policies related to financial transactions and reconciliation procedures for compliance.
  • Perform additional ad hoc tasks as needed by the business.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or a finance-related field.
  • Previous experience in financial reconciliation, funding, settlement processing, preferably in fintech or banking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reconciliation tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to lead and conduct meetings with internal or external stakeholders.
