Finance Business Analyst

Job Description:

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of monthly financial reports, value-added analysis, and meaningful insights to stakeholders. You will proactively partner with finance partners to deliver high-quality results.

You will have the opportunity to be a valued business partner by providing insights and analysis to help our organization effectively manage their cost base and support the delivery of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly financial management reports, reviewing month-end costs against forecasts, leading regular financial meetings with stakeholders, and partnering with leadership teams on formulation of annual budgets.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Technology Finance experience is preferred as well as a proactive attitude, inquisitive nature, and ability to quickly grasp new concepts
  • Effective time management skills to meet multiple deadlines for all deliverables
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a process improvement mindset
  • Excellent spoken communication skills in English with an understanding of professional communication etiquette
  • Experience with Apptio and other Technology Finance skills are an advantage
